What it costs.

Short answer: nothing. The core of fave.rocks is free — for fans, artists and venues — and it stays that way. Here's the honest version, next to what the alternatives charge.

The free bit is the whole thing.

Most artists pay a website builder a monthly bill for a site they then have to keep up to date by hand. fave.rocks gives you a profile that does the job of that website — and keeps itself current from the calendar you already keep.

Gigs that update themselves.

Connect the calendar you already keep and every gig publishes itself. Change a date once and it changes everywhere.

A profile that's really a website.

Your page carries everything a site would — what's on, music, photos, a contact form — at a link you can hand to anyone.

Fans get notified.

People who fave you hear about what you've got coming up. No algorithm deciding whether they deserve to know.

Music player.

Your songs, playable right on your page.

Fan photo wall.

The photos your crowd takes, gathered in one place on your profile.

Map + local listings.

Every gig lands on the map and in local what's-on listings, automatically.

Embed on any site.

Already have a website? Drop the widget in and your gigs stay current there too.

Contact form.

Bookers and fans can reach you without your email going public.

How that compares.

A fair look at what you'd pay elsewhere for less of the job. Wix and Squarespace are general website builders; Bandzoogle is built for musicians. Both are decent tools — they just leave the updating to you.

If you want more.

The free platform is the point. For those who want more, there is one paid plan for your page here, and two separate tools with their own prices that pick up where fave.rocks leaves off.

The website plan

Your page, your domain.

£20 a month, or £200 a year — the year costs £40 less than paying by the month. Set-up is £49, once, and it's optional: we fill in whatever your page is missing from what's already public about you, register your web address and point it at the page.

  • Your own web address, with your name and header on the page. fave.rocks folds into one small menu in the corner.
  • Your own colours on everything made for you, and a cover image across the top of your page built from your photos.
  • An act gets the week-ahead graphic for socials and a poster for the week, both made from your diary every Monday, and no limit on tracks and clips.
  • A pub gets the weekly what's-on poster with its QR on it, and the telly screen: this week's gigs rolling on any screen in the room.
  • Your gigs go to fans within 20 miles in the Monday email instead of 10, and they're highlighted in listings.

Nothing that's free now moves behind it. Cancel any time.
